NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN OUT TO CONSULTATION
CONSULTATION 5th MAY – 16th JUNE
The Parish Council has completed work on preparing the Draft Lowick Neighbourhood Plan. We are now required to formally publicise and consult on the Plan for a period of not less than six weeks. Consultation on the Draft Plan began at 00.01 am Thursday 5th May 2022 and ends at 23.59 on Thursday 16th June 2022.
You should have received or seen notice of this already. Please note that the date the consultation ends is the 16th June – not the 12th as printed in error previously.
Northumberland County Council’s Strategic Environmental Assessment has been undertaken and an Environmental Report has been prepared. This report considers the impact that introducing the policies in the Plan may have on the environment. The Environmental Report is available for consultation.
HOW CAN YOU SEE THE PLANS AND DOCUMENTS?
The Plan, plus supporting documents and the Environmental Report, can be viewed on the Lowick Neighbourhood Plan website at http://www.lowickplan.com. Printed copies of these documents are available to inspect at St John the Baptist Parish Church, Lowick between these dates – excluding Church Services.
Representations must be made in writing either by email to lowickparish@outlook.com or by post to: John Huddart, Lowick Parish Council, 5 Cheviot View, Lowick, TD15 2TY.
The Plan will also be exhibited on the afternoon of June 4th during the Jubilee Fete on Lowick Common. Members of the Parish Council will be on hand to record comments. Please seek out our stall between 1.45 and 4.15 pm.
We would be pleased to receive any written representations you may wish to make on the Plan plus supporting documents, and the Environmental Report by Thursday 16th June 2022.
