NORTHUMBERLAND LAUNCHES STORM ARWEN REVIEW
The County Council has launched the Storm Arwen Review to examine the response of the Council and involved partners; the impact on communities and make recommendations that aim to ensure better preparation for similar events in the future.
The Council is inviting submissions from Members of Parliament, Elected Members, Parish and Town Councils, and residents and businesses in the county on their experiences during the storm and the multi-agency response to it, including that of the County Council.
Written submissions should be sent to nccstormarwenreview@northumberland.gov.uk or by post to Sean Nicholson, Scrutiny Co-ordinator, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF.
The Council then propose to run a number of evidence gathering sessions at which respondents may be invited to attend to present their testimonies.
