PARISH COUNCIL ELECTION RESULT

Although the elections for the County Council have yet to be held, there will be no poll required for the Parish Council, as nominations did not exceed the number of councillors required. 8 nominations were received for the 9 places on the Council. As a result, a vote will not be required and the nominees will be returned as councillors automatically.

The Council will meet again on 20th May when it will vote to co-opt a further member to make up the full complement. One nomination has been received, and if this remains the case a further election will not be required.

The council will be formally announced after the May meeting.
