The generosity of Lowick community helps our Northumberland C19 Sewing Group again. We would like to offer a sincere thank you to Peter Calder and the Village Hall committee, John Huddart and the Parish Council and Jane Pannell and the North Northumberland Voluntary Forum for your recent kind donations.
The success of this project, which has now been going for a year and made over 6,500 items, has
come about as a result of
- the overwhelming support and great team work of over 60 volunteers,
- the amazing generosity of our communities pulling together through Covid-19, especially Lowick Village Hall and East Ord Village Hall committees.
- Lowick Village Hall really has been pivotal to the project’s achievements in the last year.
- the overwhelming support of numerous donations from the community. Monetary
donations pay for materials used to make scrubs and items for front line staff, patients
and our local community.
a full annual report will follow but in the meantime we just wanted to express our sincere appreciation for the generosity of these local committees in helping us do something positive to support our Front Line Staff. Interim updates can be found on Lowick Live and
